The Job Business Development & Client Engagement
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across public healthcare clusters (e.g., SingHealth, NUHS, NHG), private hospitals, and day surgery centers.

  • Solution Selling
  • Deliver consultative, value-based sales by providing tailored solutions that incorporate design planning, equipment specification, and workflow optimization.
  • Conduct effective presentations and product demonstrations to multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, endoscopy nurses, sterile processing teams, procurement personnel, facility managers, and biomedical engineers.
Tender Management & Proposal Development
  • Lead or support the development of tender submissions for public (e.g., GeBIZ) and private sector opportunities.
  • Prepare and coordinate comprehensive proposal documentation, including technical compliance statements, product brochures, layout drawings, and pricing.
  • Ensure all submissions adhere to Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) procurement policies and HSA regulations, where applicable.
Project Sales Execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (e.g., project management, engineering, logistics) to ensure timely and successful execution of awarded contracts.
  • Participate in site surveys, pre-installation planning meetings, and project handovers.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and infection control standards, including those set by HSA, NEA, and JCI.
  • Reporting & Pipeline Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts, pipeline activities, and client engagement records using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
The Talent
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3 years of experience in project sales or capital equipment sales within Singapore's healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of hospital project lifecycles, including tendering procedures (e.g., GeBIZ) and healthcare infrastructure planning.
  • Proven track record working with or selling to major public healthcare clusters (SingHealth, NUHS, NHG) and/or private hospitals (e.g., Parkway, Farrer Park, Raffles).
  • Familiarity with international healthcare brands and turnkey solutions for Operating Theatres (ORs) and Central Sterile Services Departments (CSSDs).
  • Exposure to integrated operating room technologies and digital endoscopy systems is an advantage.
Key Skills & Competencies

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative with proven experience/ knowledge in the health and wellness industry and a strong network within hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare institutions. This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique needs of healthcare providers and can effectively position wellness products or services that improve patient outcomes and support institutional goals.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets of allocated territory/product by developing new business with existing and potential clients;
  • Develop, maintain and apply a high level of product knowledge;
  • Apply appropriate selling and negotiation skills to enhance performance and capitalise on sales opportunities to drive overall business growth;
  • Actively monitor market trends through personal contact with customers and attend industry association meetings and seminars. Provide feedback to relevant managers on field intelligence;
  • Identify and target key physicians and key allied healthcare professionals, winning concessions and maintaining relationships;

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Medical Representative or alternative sales experience. Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Strong experience in sales - hitting targets, acquiring customers, crafting compelling sales presentations
  • Demonstrated success in selling to hospitals, nursing homes, or similar healthcare facilities
  • Strong knowledge of health and wellness trends, products, and regulatory considerations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities.
  • NITEC/Higher NITEC, Polytechnic or above
