Overview
About the Role
Reporting to the Global Demand Planning Director, this is a new role to drive unbiased demand led planning, bringing the outside in, to ensure high quality and accuracy in the Global Revenue organization’s planning efforts.
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the demand planning processes across your category globally working closely with multi-functional teams based in different regions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated forecasting models across global markets for spares and accessories. Use advanced analytics and data science tools to refine demand signals for thousands of part numbers
Integrate forecasting solutions with ERP and planning systems for seamless execution. Bring maturity in the S&OP / IBP process dedicated to this business stream.
Partner with regional & market teams to align forecasts with market trends and promotional activities. Cross functional collaboration from various stakeholders of spares & accessories.
Establish and continuously improve KPIs such as forecast accuracy, bias, and service levels, drive reduction in cost of exchange and therefore, higher customer satisfaction
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and supply teams to ensure alignment. Coordinate planning activities with other functions and regions within the company
Identify opportunities for automation, leveraging AI/ML-based tools and scripting techniques, set the baseline for markets to refer beginning of planning process
Drive the digitization of demand planning through innovation and process simplification
About you
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, advanced technology AI/ML algorithms or related field
+6 years of proven experience in demand planning, supply chain management, and solid knowledge in inventory management; advanced analytical capabilities using AI/ML to train datasets & build models is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
Proficiency in demand planning software and statistical forecasting techniques
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Master’s degree is a plus (not necessary)
