What We Expect

• Excellent writing and editing skills, including the ability to write scripts and talking points for internal and external audiences

• Project management experience would be advantageous.

• Solution Evaluation and Selection:
• Assess solution capabilities, scalability, performance, and security in accordance with clients' specific criteria.
• Develop comprehensive business cases and deliver persuasive presentations to senior management.
• System Implementation and Integration:
• Work closely with clients and project teams to oversee and guide the successful implementation of core banking systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to manage system integrations, data migration, and comprehensive testing activities.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of core banking system implementations.
• Governance and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and data security requirements throughout core banking system implementations.
• Develop and maintain system governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree will be a plus.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) as a Core banking Business Architect or in a similar role within the financial services industry. Deep hands-on knowledge about Temenos T24 or Finacle will be preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of core banking systems, architectural principles, and industry best practices.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, products, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead and facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and effectively manage stakeholders.
• Strong understanding and coding skills in Java, Core JAVA and Selenium.
• Experience in API automation and Test Data management techniques.
• Experience in Functional testing of Core banking applications like T24 and Payments applications like TPH
• Proficient in system integration concepts, data modeling, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Project management experience would be advantageous.

The opportunity

We are growing our Data & Analytics team in FSO and now is an exciting time to join us on this journey. We are looking for both Business Analysts and Data Analysts, who have financial services experience and are passionate about technology & data, to join our diverse team.

Your key responsibilities

1. Perform business and technical analysis of the current systems
2. Gather and document business and technical requirements for new solutions
3. Facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders
4. Work with the Technical Architects and Solution Architects ensuring that the design discipline and standards are met according to the agreed methodology
5. Translate functional and non-functional requirements into accurate user stories and process flows
6. Perform data profiling and data analysis
7. Ensure that requirements are traceable from requirements to solution design
8. Work with members of the project team to ensure full coverage of Test Cases of all requirements
9. Present data in graphs, charts, tables, etc., and design and develop relational databases for collecting data
10. Prepare concise data reports and data visualizations for stakeholders that will help in decision-making processes

Skills and attributes for success

1. Solid experience in query and ability to interrogate data e.g. using SQL
2. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team; and closely with Technical Architects and Solution Architects to ensure design disciplines and standards are met
3. Demonstrated experience in documenting requirements

To qualify for the role you must have

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, having worked with firms like asset managers, private banks or wealth managers, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, private equity firms or hedge funds. Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Manager role.
2. Academic background in Data & Analytics, Engineering, IT, Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting
3. Consulting skills, functional and technical knowledge of Aladdin Blackrock / eFront, SimCorp Dimension, Temenos WealthSuite and Avaloq platforms are an added bonus
4. Able to deal with senior stakeholders and adapting to demanding environments

Ideally, you’ll also have

Working knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence
