What's the role?
The Company Financials Markets team is looking for a Senior Data Management Professional who can combine deep subject matter expertise and advanced technical skills to own and develop data-driven strategies and workflows around exchanges and 3rd party data providers. Requirements

WE ARE SEEKING A HANDS-ON AND PROCESS-ORIENTED DATA MANAGEMENT & GOVERNANCE SPECIALIST TO OPERATIONALIZE OUR REGIONAL DATA STRATEGY.
Job Responsibilities
Data Governance Operationalization:
- Implementation & Rollout: Support development, drive effective implementation and enforcement of Data Governance framework, policies.
- Process Management: Manage the operational processes for Data Quality issue management lifecycle.
- Forum Facilitation: Facilitate and organize Data Governance forums and cross-functional working groups to resolve issues, review data quality metrics, and drive adoption.
- Training & Support: Develop training materials and provide guidance Data Stewards, Data Custodians across the region.
Data Model & Architecture Stewardship:
- Model Custodianship: Act as a primary custodian of the Enterprise Data Model, ensuring that all changes are documented, standards are adhered to, and the model remains the single source of truth for data structures.
- Standards Enforcement: Work closely with Data Architects and engineering teams to conduct reviews, ensuring the logical and physical data models are aligned.
- Metadata Curation: Oversee the process of defining critical data elements, metadata, data catalog and business glossary.
Data Analysis & Mapping Process Management:
- Process Oversight: Manage the end-to-end process for creating, reviewing, and approving Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documents. Ensure the process is efficient and timelines are met.
- Quality Gatekeeper: Act as a critical review point for all data mappings, performing quality checks for completeness, clarity, and adherence to standards before they are passed to the engineering teams.
- Liaison & Coordination: Act as a key liaison between the Data Analysts, business SMEs to automate reporting requirements, data analytics eliminating data copies.
Job Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Management, Business, Finance, Technology).
- 10+ years of experience in the data management field within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
- Significant hands-on experience in implementing and managing processes within at least two of the following areas: Data Governance, Data Modelling, or Data Analysis & Mapping.
- Strong understanding of banking data domains (e.g., Wholesale Banking, Treasury, Risk Management) and their associated data challenges.
Desired/Preferred:
- Direct experience participating in a large-scale data migration or business transformation project.
- Experience working with data governance and cataloging tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Azure Purview).
- Good understanding of modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture) and platforms (Databricks, Azure).
- Certification in Data Management (e.g., DAMA)
