Job Description
- As a Material Planner at Novartis Healthcare Private Limited in Telangana, India, you will play a crucial role in managing the site Master Data processes to ensure accurate and timely creation and maintenance of master data in the ERP System. Your responsibilities will include driving the tactical purchasing process for all materials to ensure materials availability and execution plan feasibility in alignment with site inventory policy.Your major accountabilities will involve setting up and performing complex local and global master data setup, establishing process guidelines, business matrix, and SLA timelines in a GxP environment while adhering to Novartis compliance standards. You will need to be a Subject Matter Expert in your assigned area of work, support data collection and reporting of KPIs, and ensure logistic processes are executed in a timely, high-quality, efficient, and effective manner in compliance with all laws and supply chain management policies.You will be responsible for identifying and driving continuous improvement projects, ensuring material availability in line with the approved production plan, and providing daily MRP oversight for all BOM material. Additionally, you will own MRP relevant data and materials technical specifications in the ERP System, manage purchased item complaints/returns to suppliers, and ensure no Purchase Orders are past due. Furthermore, you will lead action plans to achieve supplier delivery performance targets, drive continuous improvement, and report technical complaints/adverse events related to Novartis products promptly.Your key performance indicators will include inventory management, gap analysis, cost efficiency, efficiency of supply processes, standard Master Data KPIs, and on-time, in full delivery of business basics. You will also be expected to maintain a high level of customer service and ensure the smooth functioning of supply chain processes.To excel in this role, you should have experience collaborating across boundaries, operations management and execution, and project management. Your skills should encompass areas such as Bill of Materials (BOM), ERP Systems, inventory management, supply chain management, risk management, and supply planning.
