Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You will be the primary technical point of contact for potential customers during the sales process, owning and driving technical wins for security opportunities. You will engage with other teams within and outside the organization throughout the sales cycle, including partners in sell-with scenarios, and support their technical capabilities to scale solution delivery.
  • You will leverage your deep technical understanding of Data Security architectures, solutions, and technologies including Microsoft Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, and Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB).
  • You will coordinate weekly with sellers and managers to understand opportunities, competitive scenarios, and engagement focus, driving towards technical decisions.
  • You will remediate blockers, lead, and ensure technical wins for Microsoft Security and related technologies. You will proactively engage with customers, build credibility as a trusted advisor, and utilize customer references to drive consumption and facilitate post-sales deployment.
  • You will develop strategies and recommendations to improve clients’ data security posture, shape technical win plans, and tailor Microsoft messaging to various audiences for security opportunities. You will also enhance team capabilities in cloud-native data security architectures and develop differentiated strategies for your assigned customers.
  • You will lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture design sessions, explaining and architecting solutions to address customer security challenges and priorities.
  • You will demonstrate and oversee proofs of concept, present architecture patterns, and ensure integration into customer environments. You will also support cross-workload solutions and coach teams to adapt to new or evolving technologies to meet customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs):

  • Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales, consulting, or related experience.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and understanding of cloud security standards such as CIS, NIST, CSA.
  • Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Security Administration or Azure Security are preferred.
  • Industry certifications like CISSP, CCSP, IAAP, etc., are advantageous.
  • Experience with SIEM systems, Web Application Firewalls, Threat detection, Log analysis, Incident Response, and cloud security architectures such as Zero Trust, CSPM, workload protection, code security, and entitlement management.
