Your Job:
- Identify Fab data champions, form domain-specific data councils, develop inventory of Critical Data Elements(CDE)
- Develop manufacturing data catalog and data lineage (from source to report)
- Define and develop data quality KPIs and thresholds
- Establish data quality issue escalation and remediation plans
- Translate GF enterprise-wide data retention / custody policies to manufacturing data domain specific retention / classification rules, considering both compliance and value capture optimization from deploying AI/ML/Gen-AI use cases
- Guide data scientists and use case teams to identify data requirements, sources, and ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data life cycle.
- Draft initial data architectures and solutions to enable use case deployment and scaling
- Partner with GFIT and other stakeholders across multiple sites to optimize data architecture, infrastructure, and platforms for manufacturing data management and analysis.
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to the manufacturing data steward and governance team fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation and embracing growth mindset for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and advancement in data management and digital manufacturing technologies to evaluate their business value for potential use cases.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Proficiency in data governance principles, data quality management, and data integration techniques.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in data engineering with proven expertise in building scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka; proficiency in Python, SQL, and Java.
Strong understanding of database systems, data warehousing, and distributed computing concepts.
Proven experience in team management with a track record of leading teams and delivering complex data engineering projects.
Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills; independent thinking and ability to prioritise core business needs.
