**Job Overview**
As a Therapeutic Strategy Director, you will serve as a subject matter expert across the full lifecycle of new business development and project delivery. You will lead the design of strategic, innovative, and operationally feasible solutions for complex global clinical studies and programs.

**Position Summary:**
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving regional strategy formulation, enterprise transformation initiatives, and structured deployment of strategic priorities across the six Asia Pacific and Middle East & Africa (APMEA) geographies/countries (Geos). The six Geos include; Japan, Korea & Taiwan, India & South Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand, and Middle East & Africa.
The role serves as the architect of mid to long-range growth strategy, portfolio prioritization, and cross-divisional strategic programs and initiatives. It ensures that enterprise priorities are translated into clear investment choices, transformation roadmaps, and execution blueprints. Working closely with the Geo VPGMs and their teams including; commercial, marketing, finance, operations, and global business leaders, the role drives alignment, clarity, and disciplined deployment across geo markets.
This role requires strong strategic judgment, business development, enterprise thinking, financial acumen, and the ability to influence global and regional senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Strategic & Annual Planning:**
+ Lead regional strategic planning processes (STRAP, long-range planning, portfolio prioritization, AOP).
+ Translate global enterprise priorities into regionally and locally relevant growth frameworks.
+ Lead APMEA market intelligence for market and key end-segments including market trends, competitive dynamics, growth drivers, and performance analytics to inform leadership decisions & next best actions.
+ Conducts structured opportunity sizing, industry analysis, competitor benchmarking, and portfolio trade-off evaluation.
+ Identify white spaces, adjacency plays, and cross-divisional growth platforms.
+ Serve as strategic advisor to the President and leadership team on long-term growth, risk mitigation, and capital allocation. performance, trends, risks, and corrective actions.
**Strategy Deployment & Project Management**
+ Translate strategic priorities into structured deployment roadmaps with clear milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes across APMEA.
+ Lead a regional Strategy PMO framework to drive governance, risk management, and executive visibility for priority initiatives.
+ Ensure cross-functional alignment and disciplined execution of enterprise programs across Geos and divisions.
+ Monitor delivery against defined success metrics, proactively identifying risks and driving course correction where required.
**Enterprise Programs & Transformation:**
+ Lead strategic initiatives that require global, regional and Geo coordination and deployment discipline.
+ Drive structured transformation programs including operating model shifts, growth initiatives, and new business activation.
+ Ensure program governance, milestone tracking, and executive visibility.
+ Support integration of major regional initiatives, partnerships, and ecosystem plays.
**Investment Prioritization & Resource Deployment**
+ Support capital prioritization discussions and ROI frameworks.
