• Data Privacy -& Protection:
• Implement IM8 data privacy policies and procedures to protect sensitive information.
• Conduct annual data risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential data privacy risks e.g. Privacy Impact Assessments.
• Collaborate with the IT department to implement and maintain appropriate data security controls and data encryption measures.
• Train employees on data classification, privacy best practices and raise awareness about the importance of personal data protection.
• Data Quality and Vendor Management:
• Work closely with colleagues across various departments to understand their data requirements. and translate those data requirements into procurement-related requirements and specifications.
• Work with data engineer to develop data ingestion that supports data catalog and data lineage.
• Work closely with vendors to establish data transfer processes and agreements that meet the organization’s data quality, analytics and security needs.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues in their interactions with vendors to resolve data quality issues and improve data capture processes with reference to IM8 and data strategy by CDO.
• Data Governance Framework Implementation
• Maintain existing data governance framework that have clearly defined roles, responsibilities, policies, and procedures for managing data across the organization.
• Provide secretariat support to data governance committee and working groups to foster collaboration and decision-making on data-related issues.
• Assist the committee in data lifecycle management processes, including data creation, storage, sharing, archiving, and disposal
• Data Architecture and Data Flow:
• Map data collection points e.g. where data are capture and determine the data is sufficient to support operation and analytics needs.
• Ensure the setup of data transfer mechanisms and documentation comprising data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and other documentation (each maintained by respective responsible parties) to ensure a clear understanding of data definitions, lineage, and relationships.
• Work with data leads and subject matter experts to ensure the consistent application of data governance policies and standards across systems and processes
• Continuous Improvement:
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of data governance initiatives and keep data inventories for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data governance and security and apply these on data retention so that the data is managed consistently and reliably.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and promote the value of data as a strategic asset throughout the organization.
  
  
  

• Good understanding of data governance, data systems and data models. Preferably a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager), CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or data governance related qualifications.
• Practical experience in data governance / management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role
• Strong experience with data protection & privacy, metadata management, and data warehousing concepts
• Solid understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices
• Commitment to communicate and educate colleagues on these principles, frameworks and best practices so as to advance the data maturity of the organisation as a whole.

About the role:

• Establish a data governance implementation roadmap for a Cushman and Wakefield client.
• Develop and implement comprehensive Data Governance framework, policies, and procedures based on the client's business requirements.

The Data Governance AD is responsible for overseeing and implementing NLB’s data governance strategy, to ensure that NLB’s data capture, fusion and usage are reliable, secure, and of high quality, and to chart, document and iterate NLB’s overall data model.
Beyond the Data Office, you will work closely with the Technology Services Group (TSG) to develop the tools needed to effectively monitor the reliability and accuracy of our data.
The role also involves working with all NLB departments to establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards. You will be involved in upstream procurement, helping business users to scope their data requirements, as well as evaluating the capabilities of prospective vendors to to provide NLB with data necessary for operations, reporting, and analytics. You will also work closely with the eventual appointed vendors and TSG to ensure the accurate and timely transfer of data to the organization's data warehouse.

Job Description
Drive business intelligence needs for seller e-commerce insurance business market expansion across multiple markets through data-driven insights and decision making to inform our short and long term business strategy.
Adopt and lead an evidence-based, data-driven approach towards end to end process and business analysis for the implementation of seller e-commerce insurance businesses across markets, including understanding and analysis of data sets from both Shopee and Monee domains.
Support in ad hoc crucial data-related business measures and initiatives essential to proper business functioning, and develop a long term strategy towards scaling such initiatives for a more automated and holistic solution.
Analyze financial impact to topline and bottomline from seller e-commerce insurance initiatives across multiple regional markets for ongoing business growth planning.
Drive regular business performance reporting for key management and financial reporting, and for data-driven actionable business decisions and initiatives to ongoing business optimization across both commercial and operational aspects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science/Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Statistics, or related fields.
Open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in data and analytics related technical skills, including MySQL, Presto SQL, Python, and Spark.
Motivated by, and capable of, analyzing and driving solutions to complex problems around both e-commerce operations and insurance domains.
Deeply curious about ways to improve the topline and bottomline of Shopee business through insurance, by taking a data-driven approach in decision making, working closely with regional and local business teams.
Excited about, and have appreciation for, working with and managing multiple stakeholders in a project, including effective working methods with various regional and local teams across multiple Shopee markets.

As the Data Intelligence Director, you will shape the transformation of our client’s data & technology capabilities. You will work closely with all relevant stakeholders to audit current levels of digital maturity, design transformative initiatives, prioritize exercises, develop business cases, and deliver implementation roadmaps in collaboration with our clients’ marketing and IT departments. You will oversee and manage projects end-to-end that are designed to enhance our client’s capabilities.

In addition, you will work closely with Publicis Groupe Product teams to develop and implement solutions that accelerate our client’s data & technology ambitions, including the setup and management of strategic partnerships with data, identity resolution, and enterprise technology vendors.

1. Lead data & technology projects end-to-end: scoping, stakeholder management, success criteria, timelines, deployment, and partnerships. Focus areas include:

• Unlocking a client’s 1st party data strategy through audits, designing data acquisition strategies, and defining media use cases, especially in data collection by design media campaigns.
• Identifying, qualifying, and integrating 2nd party data for user journey mapping, insights, and enrichment.
• Implementing marketing & advertising technologies such as CDPs, DMPs, data clean rooms, CMPs, site personalization tools, and analytics systems.
• Assessing data partners, identity resolution partners, and marketing platform partners through RFI/RFP, proof-of-concept, and test designs.
• Scoping and managing Publicis Groupe identity & audience platform solutions based on client needs.

1. Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to identify client data & technology needs and develop applications for Publicis offerings.
2. Engage client services teams on data & technology enablement, including requirements sessions, gap analysis, and project scope definition.
3. Work with clients and agency teams to understand business strategies and engage with senior client contacts regarding data capabilities and marketing technology.
4. Guide the Global Solutions Product team on data solutions development, including product roadmaps based on market needs.

You should have a desire to work on digital transformation through data & technology, combining subject matter expertise with strong analytic, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.

• 10+ years of experience with data & platform in a digital agency, consultancy, or related provider.
• Strong technical skills and success in deploying and managing site analytics, DMPs, CDPs, and data vendors.
• Ability to map and optimize complex data & marketing tech infrastructures, with knowledge of Adobe tech stack and media platforms.
• Experience managing complex projects combining agency services, data management, consulting, and technology deployments.
• Strategic thinking and ability to communicate complex challenges to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent people management, organized communication, and a positive attitude.
• Influential skills and engaging personality for interactions at senior levels.

• Deep understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
• Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with international colleagues from China, India and US, as well as the client presentation and public events for the company.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
