The Regional Data Centers Business Development Manager is a strategic addition to the Grid automation business and is responsible to develop the business in the focus segment of Data Centers for Grid Automation focused primarily on products and system sales within Automation and Communication (AC) business, APAC region.
Responsibilities
You will own the market definition, segmentation and prospecting plan for the focus segment
You will be responsible for the key opportunities' identification and stakeholder management within those target accounts
You will increase the pipeline and orders in APAC Data Center segment.
You will support value proposition meetings by localizing technical proposals and attending Front-End-Sales / DtC BDM customer meetings.
You will be leading or supporting under Hitachi Energy – Grid Automation guidance and best-practice (Pre-)FEED studies with a focus on Data center Hyper-Scalers and Colocation investments.
You will identify, interpret, and prioritize local regulatory standards and requirements and coordinate the internal stakeholders in the region and the Global Product Group.
You will support and collaborate with the local sales team, cross collaborating with business units and global business developers and experts from the Global Product Group (GPG).
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications
You hold a bachelor's degree.
Required with sales and marketing, business developer (hunter) skills, 10 to15 years’ experience in system/solution sales.
Preference for candidates who can demonstrate APAC regional experience and in Electrical/ Power Automation domains within Data center industry.
Possess Engineering/Trade qualifications – Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
Working level knowledge of Protection relays, SCADA and telecom systems.
Skilled in contract negotiation, and contract management and solution selling.
Able to work and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and positions.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales growth for Distribution Transformers within the region.
Collaborate with the broader Siemens-Energy APAC Sales Team to contribute to the overall sales strategy.
Demonstrate critical thinking and strong business acumen in all sales activities, staying informed about market trends and competitor activities.
Engage with consultants and EPCs to identify future projects, build a healthy pipeline, and manage opportunities using CRM tools.
Participate in customer negotiations, manage bidding and pricing strategies, and conduct win/loss analysis for continuous improvement.
Coordinate agents in the region, set business goals, and provide support to achieve regional sales targets.

A Data Center Technician is responsible for deploying and maintaining servers in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities. This role takes ownership in maintaining high availability for our millions of customers' websites. Attention to detail and documentation skills are critical to being successful in this position.
