Job Description

Project Management Executive

We seek an exceptional Project Management Executive to spearhead the execution of green and/or brown field projects regionally.

  • Manage new data center project execution for green and/or brown field projects regionally.
  • Support individual country project lead and overview of all phases of data center project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
  • Develop project master program, project charter and set up project processes.
  • Sourcing for suitable specialist and subject matter experts to be part of project delivery team.
  • Translate business requirement/plan into executable project deliverables.
  • Prepare project budget capital funding, manage approved project capital funding cashflow and spending within approved budgets.
  • Lead project tender and administration processes.
  • Timely and accurately reporting of project progress and expenditure to management.
  • Familiar with data center risk redundancy configurations and requirements.
  • Day-to-day construction oversight to ensure the project is carried out in compliance with EHS requirements in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Assist in researching new technologies that could apply to new DC or to enhance current DC.
  • Knowledgeable in various M&E critical systems (e.g. UPS, Generator, Chiller, Cooling Tower) requirements including testing and commissioning (i.e. FAT, SAT, IST).
  • Knowledge in civil and architecture details including the sequence of work to support the development of schedule for efficient delivery.
  • Ensure Environment, Safety and Occupational Health are implemented by project contractors.
  • Ability in reading design and construction drawings for all fields (Architectural, Structural, M&E, etc.).
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate communication, provide updates, and address concerns.
  • Foster a culture of quality assurance and improvement for the project and within the project team.
  • Ensure projects conform to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Willing to travel regionally on an as-needed basis (20% - 25%).

Skills for Success:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in project management or construction management with proven track records in green and/or brown field data center projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or architecture.
  • Possess good leadership with great problem-solving skills.
  • Possess good communication skills in English with attention to detail.
