DESIGNATION : Engineer, Data Center Facilities Management (1-Net)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilities Operation and Maintenance:
- Conduct the required daily maintenance and operations of the data center facilities to ensure serviceability of all active and redundancy equipment. This includes performing routine facilities activities such as critical system checks and functional testing
- Respond to Mechanical and Electrical alarms/faults, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Respond and investigate Building Management System (BMS)/ Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) alerts, providing feedback on outstanding issues or events, responding to emergency situations, and being on standby duty as required

Job Scope
- Oversee assigned projects, ensuring progress aligns with schedules and taking corrective actions when needed.
- Requisition and plan for materials, labour, and equipment while minimizing wastage.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, assign tasks, and provide training to new project staff.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and purchasing teams regarding project matters.
- Conduct inspections, quality checks, and ensure adherence to safety and approved drawings.
- Handle contracts, claims, variations, material requisitions, and maintain stock control.
- Solve technical and coordination problems on-site and recommend corrective actions for non-conformance.
- Ensure proper project handover upon completion.
- Follow senior management’s assignments and arrange overtime work if required.
Requirement
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3 years’ experience in project and contract management
- Experience in Data Center projects is an advantage
