We are seeking an experienced Primary Market Research Specialist to join our Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) team. This is a 6 month contractual role based in Singapore. This role will focus on supporting the execution of a multi-market and multi-brand primary market research based KPI tracking study. The role requires the candidate to leverage their expertise in market research methodologies and stakeholder engagement to drive impact for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Research Objective Alignment:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of research objectives with business needs.
- Provide feedback on the research questionnaire and support necessary revisions to enhance clarity and effectiveness.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with vendor partners to guarantee effective fieldwork execution.
- Develop fieldwork execution plans, ensuring alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
Fieldwork Oversight:
- Monitor fieldwork progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Supervise fieldwork quality and address any issues that may arise during data collection.
Data Analysis Plan:
- Collaborate on the analysis plan to ensure alignment with research objectives and deliverables.
- Conduct interim data reviews, validating research data and insights for accuracy and relevance.
Reporting and Insight Generation:
- Review market research reports for comprehensiveness and accuracy, ensuring insights are actionable for stakeholders.
- Engage with business stakeholders to address queries and follow-ups, providing timely and informative responses.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and engagement throughout the research process.
- Actively manage expectations and feedback from stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the research lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, Biological Science or related fields with mminimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Preferably in pharmaceutical or life sciences experience.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel with deep experience in complex Excel models and large data sets
- Advanced skills in Power point and presentation skills to concisely and skillfully present market and company data
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across functional areas and markets
- Self-starter mindset and keen interest in continuous learning and being aware of advances in data visualization
- Experience partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize data, interpret data, and process observations into actional recommendations
