This position is PRN as needed with a variable schedule, located in Thomson, GA at our McDuffie facility.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists use ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis and treatment. They perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist and provide care to patients of all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiological Technologist; if less, must have advanced ARRT certification in CT.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Preferred: ARRT advanced certification in CT, BLS certification, and six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist.

This is a radiography position requiring candidates to conduct medical imaging examinations, including mammography, ultrasound, and bone mineral densitometry.

Candidates will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, maintaining a clean and safe diagnostic environment, and operating diagnostic equipment responsibly.

They must apply ALARA principles in all imaging procedures, support quality control, and ensure smooth operations in assigned centres.

Maintenance of general housekeeping standards and achievement of AHPC certification within one to two years are also required.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Diagnostic Radiography, be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council, and possess an R1 license from Centre for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Sciences, NEA.
