The primary responsibilities for this role include:
Performing day-to-day operation and maintenance of facilities systems at StarHub Data Centres and Offices, such as Generators, UPS, DC Rectifier System, Static Transfer Switch, Fire Protection System, Building Management System, HT/LT electrical system, and ACMV systems.
Ensuring routine maintenance is carried out according to schedule and scope of work.
Planning, calling for tenders, evaluating them, and managing expansion projects.
Enforcing security at Data Centres and Offices, managing physical and electronic security systems.
Carrying out customer work orders within the requested RFS date.
Maintaining records and updating drawings and security documentation.
Conducting safety checks and initiating corrective measures.
Managing leases, renewals, and liaising with authorities and tenants.
Carrying out risk assessments and managing safety protocols.
Performing 24/7 standby duties and responding to incidents.
Performing other assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications
Appropriate qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications, or Facilities Management with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Data Centres.
Fresh Diploma graduates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply.
Good understanding of facilities systems and building maintenance.
Possession of Class 3 Driving License (Manual).
Basic networking, broadband access, and cabling knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; ability to manage contractors.
Experience with network provisioning is advantageous.
Self-motivated with strong drive and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.

Identify customers’ business needs, challenges, and technical requirements. Support all RFI/P/Q preparation as requested by Sales Representatives.
Extensive experience with niche Data Center products & solutions such as Modular UPS, Busway, In-Row Cooling, Rear Door Heat Exchanger, and In-Rack Cooling solutions.
Ability to design a complete Data Center package, from civil work to connectivity, engaging third parties for other required packages, and delivering a comprehensive, presentable techno-commercial solution.
Expertise in designing, sizing, and selecting products for UPS, cooling systems, mechanical and electrical distribution, panels & breakers, and other critical Data Center components.
Act as the key SME for driving Data Center Critical Infrastructure solutions across the organization for the India region.

Provide strong technical support in sales presentations and customer meetings.
Collaborate with internal teams (CSM, Operations, etc.) to ensure a smooth project transition from pre-sales to post-sales.

Position yourself as a “trusted advisor” and “thought leader” to customers, install partners, and design consultants for pre-sales translation, qualification of technical opportunities, and ongoing engagement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a reputed university.
10 years of work experience, with at least 7+ years of relevant Pre-Sales experience from a solution provider or system integrator ecosystem, selling to end customers and engaging with OEMs, distributors, internal stakeholders, and customers.
Minimum of 10 successful turnkey Data Center project designs and deliveries.
CDCDP or CDCS certification preferred. CDCP certification is the minimum requirement.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Intermediate proficiency in the O365 platform for internal tools.
