The Job:
Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance:
- Perform specialized preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of critical systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, life safety, BMS).
- Recommend and implement energy efficiency and reliability improvements
Vendor Management:
- Coordinate and supervise vendors on critical maintenance tasks
- Review and update technical documentation

Incident & Site Support:
- Monitor systems, respond to alarms/incidents
- Conduct root cause analysis, identify risks (e.g., SPOFs)
- Recommend corrective measures.

Projects & Work Orders:
- Complete skilled work requests, circuit installations, infrastructure upgrades, and end-of-life replacements.
- Support and troubleshoot auxiliary systems and recommend future projects.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Work closely with team members to resolve issues, share expertise, mentor junior staff
- Support inventory management of critical parts.
- 3-5 years of experience in critical facilities, preferably within data centers, production lines, power plants, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, tracking, and documentation.

The Job
You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Facilities, Data Centre for the maintenance and day-to-day operations of the Data Centre facilities with the objective of achieving uninterrupted availability at all times and to ensure the fulfilment of our service commitment to customers. This role requires you to work on rotating shifts and weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise vendors carrying out maintenance and repair works in the building.
- Carry out daily equipment inspections and checklists verification.
- Ensure that periodic maintenance works as performed by appointed vendors are executed satisfactorily & in accordance with agreed procedures
- Correct and timely provisioning of power and racks for customers.
- Process billing of completed Customers Service Requests

- Provide on-site 24x7 first level response to any M&E incident.

- Provide Remote-Hands services to DC customers.
- Install, troubleshoot and de-install Cross-Connects cabling.
- Able to handle project fit-out and A & A works.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Integrated Facility Design & Management or relevant discipline
- Relevant Data Centre Training such as Uptime Institute, DCD, EPI or CNET Data Centre courses
- At least 2 years of experience in working in similar role in critical environment facilities.
- Possess technical knowledge in facilities management preferably in Data Centre environment
- Willing to do shift work.
- Ability to respond to onsite inquiries on 24x7 basis as necessary preferred
- Able to read electrical, mechanical and single-line diagrams and as-built drawings
- Able to write SOPs, MOPs and EOPs correctly
- Facility project planning and management is preferred
- AutoCAD familiarity is desired
