Paramedic (24 Hours Acute Critical Care)
Provide clinical care in the different work areas of the medical centre.
To assist doctors and attend to emergency calls whenever necessary.
Perform patient assessment and clinical intervention in hospital.
Perform procedures and treatment to meet the general comfort and well-being of the patients.
Competencies in clinical & emergency skills and knowledge such as performing IV cannulation, venipuncture for blood sampling, IV administration of medical fluids, ECG monitoring and interpretation are preferred.
Assist doctors and attend to emergency calls when necessary. Provide patient education and participate in patient rehabilitation, involving the patients’ family as necessary.
Record and maintain proper accurate documentation of patient's progress and management rendered in the notes, medication records and charts'.
To attend for ambulance call
Job Requirements:
5 / 6 days work week, 42 hrs a week, 3 Rotating shifts (24 Hours Acute Critical Care)
Candidate must possess at least a Paramedic Certificate
Preferably 1 year of A&E working experience
Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pb> Ventilator & cough‐assist: Routine use per protocol; secretion management; elevate when parameters/secretions change.

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members regarding the patient's condition and treatment plan.
- Begin treatment promptly and monitor medication doses closely.
- Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies and alert doctors as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Care for patients' needs throughout recovery, including managing pain, reducing stress, and promoting overall well-being.
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation of patient care before transferring patients to other units or facilities.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized patient records to facilitate effective communication among healthcare professionals.
- Create and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Proven work experience as a critical care nurse or similar role, demonstrating expertise in caring for critically ill patients.
- Strong understanding of health information systems, technology, and data analysis.
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
