Pastry Production Crew Job Description

We are seeking skilled pastry professionals to join our team as Pastry Production Crew members. This role involves preparing and producing a variety of pastries and puddings, adhering to high standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce assorted pastries and puddings
• Ensure product consistency in accordance with established procedures and protocols
• Maintain kitchen equipment cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
• Receive, pack, and store raw ingredients and finished products according to temperature requirements
• Perform basic housekeeping tasks in the central kitchen area
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a pastry chef or central kitchen pastry staff member
• Able to work extended hours and withstand cool room temperatures
• Team player with a positive attitude and passion for confectionery

• Receiving and confirming walk-in, telephonic, and online reservations.
• Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary.
• Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
• Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind.
• Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
• Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
• Be well versed in our menu and products.
• Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.

• Willing to work shift hours, weekends and Public Holidays
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills

• Full Time 44 hrs per week, 5 days/ Part-time max 35 hrs per week
