- Manage and control the collection process for your assigned portfolio of delinquent accounts including liaising with legal counsels, financial consultants and other professionals
- Familiar with legal, bankruptcy, repossession and other insolvency processes
- Ensure timely payments from accounts under your supervision
- Provide updates, recovery strategy for major delinquent accounts with respect to loan restructuring, specific provisioning, write-offs etc
- Prompt follow-up on accounts including conducting site visits

Role description:
We are seeking a detail oriented Finance Contractor to support a deep dive review of MAS 1003 returns and other regulatory submissions. The role involves data analysis, reconciliation, variance investigation and documentation to strengthen the bank's compliance with MAS requirements. The successful candidate will also assist in the adhoc financial and regulatory reporting projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end to end data review for MAS 1003 returns including source to report reconciliation.
- Validate classification of assets, liabilities, commitments and off balance sheet exposures in line with MAS definitions
- Work with Powai extended team for any reporting gaps noted with an objective of historical look back analysis right up to resolution.
- Assist in preparation and/or review of other MAS returns and prudential returns. Maintain and update interpretation document and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Support finance initiatives including driving automation and process improvements specifically for MAS 1003.
- Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and governance standards
Skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required:
- 8+ years of working experience in regulatory reporting in banking / financial services
- Experience with MAS 1003 requirements including sound understanding on each schedule and its reporting requirements.
- Experience with IFRS/SFRS reporting standards to align the ledger numbers to MAS 1003 forms
- Experience with AxoimSL is a must.
- Ability to read MAS reporting instructions and apply
- Manages tight deadlines with minimal errors including the ability to work independently
- Proficient in excel and comfortable with working with large data set.
- Strong data reconciliation and execution skills.
- Alteryx a plus.
- Good documentation skills
