QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
We have a rigorous selection process and require:
Hard-skills
- A minimum master's degree in counselling from a recognised university
- Peak body membership , preferably an SAC, SPS or equivalent membership
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience conducting one-on-one therapy as a mental health therapist

Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Client Advisors, the Investment Counselor (IC) manages investment relationships and delivers our Chief Investment Officer (CIO)’s views to our wealth clients.
- IC is expected to function as one of the primary client contacts, and trusted investment advisor for clients, including direct sales advisory, determining suitability, identifying product specific opportunities, portfolio advice and after sales execution
- Works closely with the Market Managers and support the Relationship Managers professionals primarily serving clients in Onshore Singapore.
- Partners with Client Advisors to grow their existing clients’ share of wallet and win a greater percentage of their high net worth prospects by focusing on delivering quality solutions that meet individual client’s needs.
- Lead and share investment opportunities with Client Advisors, create customized proposals for high net worth clients and be available to accompany Client Advisors to deliver investment solutions in client meetings.
- Combine in depth knowledge of traditional and alternative investments with wealth solutions and banking services to optimize client service and cross-marketing opportunities.
- Leverages specialists and wholesalers to provide subject matter expertise where appropriate and present or co-present at client events.
- Provides a high level of communication and customer service to sales professionals and their clients.
- Accountable for product revenue goals and penetration goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 10-15 years of experience in investment product sales required.
- Broad understanding of financial services, product solutions and all aspects of financial planning strategies and concepts
- Client-centric skills including excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Specific licensing may be required
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

+ Provides a high level of communication and customer service to sales professionals and their clients.
+ Accountable for product revenue goals and penetration goals.

**Qualifications:**
+ 6-10 years of experience in investment product sales required.
+ Broad understanding of financial services, product solutions and all aspects of financial planning strategies and concepts
+ Client-centric skills including excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
+ Able to converse in business-level Mandarin and/or Cantonese to serve clients within North Asia market
+ Specific licensing may be required
+ Expect up to 50% travel.
