What the role is

What You'll Bring
A minimum of 10 years in communications (agency and in-house positions) and/or marketing communications experience, ideally in a Business-to-Business (B2B) industry.
Proven experience within PR, AR, as well as with other communications disciplines and marketing functions in the B2B technology industry (ideally with PR agency experience).Proven track record of developing and driving successful programs, campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives, including experience in content development within a relevant field or industry and ability to consistently deliver creative, original thinking across multiple topics.
Experience in leading a high-performing international team.
Ability to successfully manage and support a network of PR agencies and third-party vendors.
Knowledge of/relationships with key industry and business media across APJ as well as relevant analysts as a bonus that has led to impactful, consistent media coverage and results.
Proficient English language speaker and writer.

Excels at creative storytelling and pushes for new ways to engage audiences

Ability to think and communicate strategically and effectively with all levels of the organization
Sound judgement, a knack for diplomacy, experience with project management with multiple stakeholders, and the confidence to engage and build consensus with functional leaders at all levels

Reporting Relationship And Accountability
This position reports directly to the vice president of global corporate communications and will be part of the Veeam Corporate Communications team. This role will work in close partnership with the region's senior leaders and will be part of the region's marketing leadership team.

Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and execute corporate communications strategies aligned with long-term goals.
  • Lead change communications to support transformation initiatives.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing communications team, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Academic, Community & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Oversee planning and delivery of events and programmes in hospital and community settings.
  • Manage hosted visits by government leaders, donors, partners, and VIPs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful events that highlight institutional excellence.

Marketing & Communications

  • Develop and implement brand, marketing, and communication plans to strengthen market leadership.
  • Drive innovative campaigns and digital strategies across web, social media, and automation platforms.
  • Ensure consistency of brand narrative, tone of voice, and editorial standards.
  • Translate research, clinical, and academic outputs into compelling stories for local and global audiences.
  • Use analytics to measure effectiveness of campaigns and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Organizational Culture & Engagement

  • Partner with leadership to strengthen internal communications and workforce engagement.
  • Lead internal campaigns to build shared purpose, storytelling, and recognition culture.

Philanthropy & Fundraising

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve institutional goals.
  • Prepare donor-facing materials and manage stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and provide regular progress reports to leadership.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
