The Befriending initiative assists ex-offenders and their families with their reintegration transitioning by matching suitable volunteers to support them with their needs. Initiative for Incarcerated Mothers and Affected Children (IIMAC) looks into assessing the overall well-being of young children (16 years and below) as well as their caregivers when the mothers are imprisoned.
Social Work Associate is responsible in ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with organization standards. The worker is required to assist the VAP, Manager by handling all administrative matters of the Befriending initiative and the processes related to overall programme and volunteer management (recruitment, training, maintenance and welfare of volunteers).
