Job Description
Provide nursing and basic care to clients.
Evaluate and monitor the progress of clients’ treatment regularly.
Bedside nursing duties (permanent shift / rotating shift / office hours) suchp as responsibilities listed below:
Assistance with ADLs, lifting and transferring of patients where needed
Provide comfort care
Keeping pre-cooked meals to the patients
Assist with activities appropriate to the patient’s abilities
Vital signs monitoring
Male and female catheterization
Wound management, removal of stitches
Tracheostomy care and management
Nasogastric tube insertion and care management
Medication management: Drug calculation/reconstitution, manage storage and administration of meds (inclusive of controlled drugs); Medication packing
Ensure strict compliance with clinical regulations as a nurse
Create and maintain a database of all clients, ensuring strict compliance with documentation, and providing evidence-based treatment with accurate and timely records.
Ensure appropriate, legible, and prompt documentation when required.
Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in nursing (RN)
Must be a Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board with a clean disciplinary record (nurses on conditional license may not apply for this role).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable with IT would be ideal.
Some weekends, public holidays, and overnight shift may be required depending on client needs.
