About the Job
As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in the delivery of projects and work on client sites to deliver large-scale change initiatives for leading clients across Financial Services and/or Insurance sectors. Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements, and functional specifications to identify gaps between the current state and future state, and propose enhancements to current business processes, reports, and applications to optimize system effectiveness.
Be the liaison between business and technical users and work to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
Responsible for delivering and managing projects, individual workstreams, and communicating project statuses to senior management.
Work on client sites to deliver change initiatives for leading clients across financial services, including investment banking, retail banking, technology, wealth, and insurance.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients, especially senior management.
Produce high-quality verbal and written consulting deliverables (proposals, customer presentations, consulting reports) to effectively communicate project findings.
Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and enable cross-business and cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of Agile ways of working would be an advantage.

Your Key Responsibilities
The Business Transformation team focuses on strategy, future operating models, experience design, platforms, innovation and execution. The sheer nature of wide scope of work will require you to collaborate across teams to bring the best of EY to solve the client’s problem statements
Support senior team in developing new content for our clients which can include market research/sizing, as well as creating scalable digital solutions that solve teething client issues
Prepare timely, quality output and deliverables per client’s needs
Participate in business development activities and create client pitches and proposals
Form part of our client project delivery teams where you will manage deliverables, analyze data, prepare presentations and design solutions

To Qualify for the role, you must have
An attitude to learn, approach problems head on, to be willing tofind solutions
Minimum 2 years' experience as an internal or external consultant working on strategy, business transformation, product, operations and/or technology projects in a Financial Services (banking, insurance or asset management) organisation or in management consulting
Structured problem solving, quantitative analysis, and storylining skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in collaborative and client-facing environments
Strong business analysis experience
Ideally, you should also have
A design thinking mindset including user research, functional requirements definition, business process analysis, business modelling, and workshop design and facilitation
Working knowledge of the full lifecycle of operating model definition, roadmap creation and its execution
Experience of working with or as part of scrum teams
Detailed knowledge of creating user stories/requirements definition/acceptance criteria using agile tools and techniques
Some prototyping / wireframing knowledge and experience
Experience of developing and documenting user stories and epics
Knowledge of tools like Figma, Adobe XD
