Responsibilities :

• Site Preparation: Clearing debris, digging trenches, and preparing the ground for construction.
• Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and equipment.
• Assisting Tradespeople: Working alongside carpenters, electricians, and plumbers to install components and fixtures.
• Operating Equipment: If qualified, operating machinery like bulldozers, cranes, and backhoes.
• Building and Dismantling Structures: Constructing scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structures, as well as taking them down.
• Following Instructions: Reading blueprints and following instructions from supervisors or lead tradespeople.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and reporting hazards.
• General Labor: Performing tasks such as mixing concrete, measuring and cutting materials, and cleaning the site.

• Conduct daily site supervision, coordination and quality assurance of all trades implementation on site .
• Responsible for the planning and scheduling of time for project in-charge.
• Coordinate with all parties and support site construction progress.
• Conduct site supervision and able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE and RTO.
• Check structural plans and drawings to ensure the accuracy of the construction

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Min 4 years of working experience in construction field (Civil & Structural or Building) preferred
• Able to communicate well and work as a good team player

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Main Responsibilities:

• Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using various materials.
• Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter's level, plumb bob, and laser levels.
• Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
• Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
• S shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines or power saws.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors or other wooden fixtures used in buildings using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
• Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins or glue.
• Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and to repair or replace them using hand tools.
• Inspect ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
• Move necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
• Clean up worksite debris.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter.
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Willingness to always follow safety guidelines.
• Good understanding of basic Math.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
