Job Opportunity:

This position combines the skills of a quantity surveyor, draftsman, and project coordinator. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender submissions, bills of quantities, and conduct site measurements and cost analysis.

• Prepare 2D and 3D architectural drawings and coordinate with main contractors and clients.

• Manage project schedules and prepare progress claims and payment responses based on SOP Act.

• Submit work completion reports for client acknowledgment.

• Attend site meetings and provide hands-on support when needed.

Requirements:

• National ITE Certificate or above.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• A team player with initiative and ability to work independently.

• Able to interpret architectural drawings.

• Familiarity with ironmongery, bicycle racks, and timber wood is an advantage.

We are seeking a skilled Geospatial Mapping Specialist to join our team. As a Geospatial Mapping Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting outdoor and indoor survey works, taking measurements and marking boundary marks.

• Conducting surveys using 3D laser scanning technology.
• Producing certified survey plans for submission to authorities.

• Be physically fit with healthy eyesight to work outdoors and indoors island-wide.
• No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided.
• Able to commit to a 5-day work week from 8am to 5.30pm.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of geology, remote sensing, GIS, 3D, land use, geography, agriculture, and ArcGIS.
• Attention to detail and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with satellite imagery and sustainable agriculture practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from both local and international clients.
• Oversee and coordinate the preparation of pre-tender documentation, manage responses to tender clarifications and amendments, and participate in tender meetings leading to the award process.
• Prepare and manage contract documentation to ensure effective contract administration, including reviewing commercial terms with clients and subcontractors.
• Support Project Managers in preparing monthly progress claims and ensure timely and successful collection of payments.
• Attend site meetings when required to align with project staff on contractual and commercial matters.
• Assist in the preparation of variation orders, and maintain comprehensive records of work changes and design modifications.
• Liaise with main contractors and clients’ Quantity Surveyors on claims, negotiations, and final account settlements.
• Work with directors, project managers, and the financial controller to prepare project budgets and cash flow projections.
• Negotiate subcontractor packages and assist in drafting subcontractor and supplier agreement letters.
• Analyze project and contract scopes for effective administration, including interpretation of architectural and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with the financial controller and project managers to monitor project costs and manage overall financial administration.
• Provide historical cost data and analysis to support contract negotiations and budgeting processes.

Job Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and people management skills with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated, analytical, and capable of working independently.
• Background in Quantity Surveying (QS) or Contracts is advantageous.
• Possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering works.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD.
• Able to commence work immediately or within a short notice period.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in tendering, cost estimation, or quantity surveying within the construction or M&E industry, specifically in Electrical and/or Mechanical trades.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting tender drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and budgeting processes.
