Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and certified Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or laboratory facility projects. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. PMP certification is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or laboratory construction/renovation projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans including budget forecasts, risk assessments, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
- Coordinate and manage all stakeholders including consultants, contractors, engineers, architects, and internal teams.
- Ensure all construction, validation, and commissioning activities comply with GMP, GxP, HSE, and relevant industry regulations.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to leadership and clients.
- Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and risks with proactive solutions.
- Manage change control processes, procurement plans, and vendor performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned practices post-project completion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Architecture, or a related field.
- PMP certification
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or laboratory sector.
- Proven experience managing complex construction or infrastructure projects in controlled environments.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

You are employed as a Senior Consultant in the Construction, Projects & Assets (CP&A) Practice.
Based in Singapore, you will play a key part in driving engineering design excellence, enhancing construction management processes, and advising on strategic digital delivery for large-scale capital projects. Leveraging your combined expertise in technology, engineering, and real estate, you will support our clients in maximizing value and improving efficiency through project management and digital transformation initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline;
- At least 12 years of experience in project management, construction management, or management consulting for complex infrastructure projects;
- Comfortable working directly with a senior management team;
- Ability to work with clients as part of a team and deliver tangible outputs within agreed timescales;
- A working knowledge of different capacities in supporting the delivery of large projects, programs and portfolios;
- Proficient in Excel and Word;
- Proficient in English and business writings; and other language capability will be added advantage;
- Willingness to travel regionally/globally to client offices and/or FTI regional offices as needed.
- Availability to attend early or late regional/global meetings as required.
Additional preferable attributes include;
- International working experience
- Strong construction planning experience and claims preparation knowledge
- Specialized expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 4D planning techniques, with proven ability to apply these in complex project environments
