Planning Manager
Working Days: 5 Days A Week (Monday – Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm
Office at City Hall
Salary: $7000 to $8800
Requirement
Minimum 12 years of experience in construction site work and planning work
Roles & Responsibilities
1. To coordinate with the Costing Department, M&E department and Business department on the tender requirements.
2. Able to cooperate with construction department staff in tender planning, EHS matters.
3. To assist / attend subcontractor / supplier workshop meeting pertaining to the various tender and make the necessary preparation.
4. To ensure that the proposed plannings are in accordance with the drawings / specifications / authority's requirement.
5. Able to work up a suitable Microsoft Project schedule (or equivalent) for tender project showing all the proper work sequence from commencement to TOP.
6. To study and proposed a (with alternative) feasible Temporary Site Facilities.
7. To study and propose the suitable construction sequence for Structural and Architectural with taking note of the various authority's requirement and contract specifications.
8. To study and propose the suitable and most cost effective ERSS for the costing dept.
9. To assist / provide technical support for the tender team on the queries from consultants.
10. To work up and provided an estimated manpower and resources required in a tender project.
11. To work with Project team on the various proposals that are being proposed during tender stage once the tender is successful.
12. To check the tender documents / specifications / drawings and highlight any discrepancies or value engineering or key items that need to take note by tender team.
13. To participate in safety site inspection to check on site safety, workmanship etc.
14. Proficient in using software such as Microsoft office, Microsoft project, AutoCAD.
15. To review the construction preview submitted by project team & coordinate with them to get Japan HQ approval.
16. To assist the office management to improve on the sites EHS.
