What you will be working on
Co-led by Sport Singapore, High Performance Sport Institute (HPSI) and Singapore Sports School, you will be part at the forefront of the journey to support the vision for the next bound of Singapore's High Performance Sport development to build new ecosystem capabilities and better integrate our policies and programmes to strengthen support for the ecosystem and our stakeholders.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of long-term strategy and policies that seek to directly impact Singapore's sporting trajectory by establishing robust systems that enable sustained international success while uniting the nation through sporting achievement.
Conduct scenario planning, horizon scanning, and predictive analysis initiatives to inform strategic decision-making, to build transformative systems and enhanced ecosystem capabilities, as well as to engender a future ready ecosystem;
Develop/ Review national policies, programmes and processes, with the aim of optimising government's investment and support for the ecosystem and stakeholders;
Establish holistic and systematic implementation and engagement plans to align and synthesise complex information from diverse stakeholders into coherent policies and processes.

Audit & Regulatory Support: Act as a primary liaison with internal and external auditors, regulatory bodies, and compliance stakeholders for audits and assessments involving cybersecurity domains. Prepare documentation and evidence, coordinate audit responses, and manage remediation activities post-audit.
Continuous Improvement & Industry Alignment: Lead cybersecurity maturity assessments and benchmark organizational posture against recognized frameworks. Recommend and drive continuous improvements to GRC processes based on industry best practices, risk trends, audit findings, and evolving threats. Stay informed of emerging regulatory requirements, cyber threats, and innovations in cybersecurity governance.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
Work Experience: 5-7 years in delivering projects in areas such as security governance, audit, vulnerability assessments, security operations, incident response, security risk management and risk management tools
Familiarity with supporting enterprise information applications and infrastructure (e.g. server, network, database and Cloud)
Good working knowledge of security risk management and security governance methodologies, industry security standards such as ISO27001/2, CIS Critical Controls, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, risk management tools, technical vulnerability management, security technologies and trends and security operations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functional teams

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, we are currently looking for a risk professional with CCP Clearing Risk and modelling experience to join the Risk Management Department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage APEX's clearing risks effectively and comprehensively in line with approved Risk policies.
- Review and update risk policies and procedures to align with IOSCO-PFMI guidelines, regulatory requirements, and directives from the Board Risk Committees.
- Maintain and improve appropriate risk models such as margining, collateral, and stress testing for APEX, which is the key responsibility for this role.

- Conduct day shift and night shift duties regarding clearing risk management as per required.

- Conduct credit scoring to rate APEX's members and counterparties.
- Conduct regular risk reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Execute enterprise risk management tasks as arranged by the Chief Risk Officer.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Risk Officer from time to time.
Requirements:
- University degree or above with at least 5 years of experience managing the risks of a clearing house or future brokerage, or equivalent experience.
- Good understanding of financial products such as futures and options.
- Strong knowledge of margining, risk models and methodologies.
- Strong quantitative skills, preferably with working knowledge of programming languages / software such as Excel, Python and VBA.
- Motivated and able to produce quality work under pressure.
- Strong analytical ability to analyze risk related issues and deal with complexity and ambiguity.
- Strong communicator with oral, written and presentation abilities in English and Mandarin.

Commercial Rating and Underwriting (CRU) is the institutional credit risk management function within American Express. - Ability to read Chinese financial statement as this role covers the Greater China market.

What you will be working on
Under the Risk Management Department (RMD), you will be part of the Enterprise Risk Management team, responsible for managing the risk in the organisation. The team plays a vital role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating various risks that could impact the organisation's operations and our members' interests.
For this role, you will be working closely with the team on two key initiatives to enhance our risk monitoring capabilities: developing a systematic approach to track organisational risks, and strengthening our environmental scanning for emerging risks. You will contribute to enhancing our dynamic risk sensing model for horizon scanning, and to developing a risk register to help officers effectively monitor and report on key organisational risks.
In this role, you will:
• Support the development and refinement of business requirements for a risk register, including gathering user feedback.
• Prepare test scenarios and conduct user testing to ensure the risk register meets business needs.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging risks through horizon scanning, and analyse potential impacts of emerging risks on the organisation.
• Contribute to the development of early warning systems for risk sensing.

Responsibilities:
Administrative Assistance to Risk Leadership

Audit Confirmations Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for audit confirmation requests, maintain an up-to-date audit trail, and monitor request status.
- Liaise with the Finance team to secure billing and receivables data.
Escalate complex matters appropriately to the Risk Management team or Exco Risk Partner.
Risk Documentation & Workflow Support
Maintain and update Risk Management templates and standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency and version control across documents.

Issue Monitoring & Reporting
Track audit confirmation volumes and response times, identifying and escalating anomalies or trends to relevant stakeholders.
