Key Responsibilities:

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with local communities first.
  • Ensure the teams conduct outreach and engagement activities that contribute to WCK's reputation as an effective, compassionate, and reliable relief organization
  • Represent WCK in the field, acting as an ambassador to beneficiaries, partners, and the media, as required.

Requirements

  • Ability to spend up to 70% of the time in the field. The typical duration of an activation is four (4) weeks, though timelines could be longer.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent preferred, or 5+ years of experience in management roles, preferably in fast paced, ever changing environments; including military, emergency response, culinary, humanitarian or event management settings.
  • Experience leading, training and coaching large teams in challenging and rapidly changing environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal infrastructure and resources

Now Hiring: Junior Executive – Community Engagement (Fundraising)

Sector: Non-Profit / Healthcare
Salary: Up to $3,800/month
Working Arrangement: Full-time



Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Events & Campaigns:

  • Plan and execute fundraising and sponsorship events
  • Partner with volunteers and supporters to deliver successful campaigns

Donor & Sponsor Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and external partners
  • Handle donor communications and acknowledgements

Donation Processing & Data Management:

  • Process donations accurately across all platforms
  • Maintain CRM systems and ensure data accuracy and timely updates

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in any field
  • Open to front-end (cold calling, outreach) and back-end (data entry, reports) duties

Job Description

  • Conduct community outreach and relevant need assessments to the elderly at a designated service boundary.
  • Conduct care befriending services to frail and vulnerable elderly at their homes.
  • Provide referral to help services for the elderly in needs.
  • Recruit volunteer befrienders to assist with the outreach and befriending services.
  • Train volunteer befrienders to provide monitoring and appropriate referral to support services.
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties such as visitation notes, records and other necessary data and statistics required by the authorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Nitec, Diploma Holder & above in Healthcare related or any field of study.
  • Min. 1 to 2 years of related experience in Seniors befriending service or relevant Elderly community outreach support experience
