About the Role

Responsibilities

Job Title

The Project Leader will spearhead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of cutting-edge communication solutions for transportation infrastructure projects.

• Project Oversight:
• Lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Participate in pre-sales activities to drive business growth.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide project management and technical leadership on communication systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement effective quality assurance processes to guarantee project deliverables meet client expectations.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and other key partners.

• Risk Management:
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Develop contingency plans and lead crisis management efforts as needed.

• Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in managing large-scale communication projects.
• Deep knowledge of communication systems and technologies.
• Proven experience working with transportation authorities and operators.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.

· Resolve any issues that arise during installation

· Understand and reading installation manuals and instructions

· Design and drafting of cabling installation diagrams

· Coordinate with other contractors and subcontractors to ensure project completion within time and budget

· Supervise teams of subcontractors for installation works including cable containment, support, cabling, racks, and cabinets.

· Assist Project Manager on daily and monthly progress for report generation.

· Conduct testing and commissioning after successful implementation

· Perform maintenance on existing equipment or facilities to ensure proper operation

Job Requirements:

· At least a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in installing or designing electrical and communication infrastructures.

· Ability to prepare, draw, and update single-line diagrams

· Experience in LTA railway-related projects and knowledge of communication systems.
