Summary of the Job: (Primary function of the job)

  • Sourcing and vendor management to ensure approved vendors meet our delivery, quality and cost requirements

  • Management in Supplier performance evaluation on quality, price, delivery & Services for yearly spend award.

  • Supplier Management in Commercial support improvement & Continuity of supply.

  • Contract Management with Vendors like Supply Agreement, Risk Buy Agreement, etc

  • To influence Supplier for Customer OTD support upon receipt of escalation from Purchasing.

  • Negotiate, ensure and improve suppliers' price competitiveness, lead-time and on time delivery

  • Develop & drive qualification of new suppliers to meet requirement for customized automation projects and contract manufacturing

  • Responsible for driving FA qualification and control run success. Ensure all necessary documents are in place

  • Provide DFX solutions to customers and internal cross functional teams, for cost effectiveness

  • Execute procurement and sourcing activities to ensure continuity when there is market shortage, EOL with no alternative with existing source and etc unforeseen situation that jeopardize the supply. Recommend risk purchase to support materials continuity when needed

  • Perform post mortem on cost performance of actual vs quoted

  • Maintain KPIs and present to the management

  • Manage and control supplier process to meet drawing standard. Lead inhouse team to resolve quality and delivery escalations with suppliers

Job Requirements:

  • NTC 2 or 3 In Machining or equivalent
