**The opportunity**
Responsible for sales of pharmaceutical products and other company products to prescribing healthcare professionals, mainly general practitioner. Deliver therapeutic information in compliance with ethical rules and according to the marketing and sales strategies defined for the product line.
Work closely with Medical Affairs Manager, Marketing Manager and Product Manager, Digital Executive and other internal stakeholders to develop prescribers - however, the product portfolio and customer coverage may change depending on company's sales strategy.
**How you'll spend your day**
In compliant to Compliance SOPs,
+ Promotion and sale of prescription drugs and other company products to assigned clinics / general practitioners. This includes opening of new accounts
+ Establish and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders in clinics to understand customer's needs to provide solutions from the company to capitalise on business opportunities
+ Work closely with Medical Affairs Manager, Marketing Manager, Digital Executive to develop prescribers for focus products
+ Achieve Sales Target set and execute sales plan & activities in line with business strategy
+ Keep updated records of customer profiles and information. Utilise VeeVa CRM to capture all customers calls and achieve KPIs set for call coverage and F2F call visits
+ Participate & execute marketing & sales promotional activities to drive awareness and prescription of products & provide timely feedback
+ Communicate marketplace information and competitor activities promptly to manager and marketing department
+ Organize and participate in product demonstration, contract and customer engagement activities
+ Provide timely monthly forecasts to line manager
+ Undertake projects assigned by line manager and work cross-functionally with the cross-functional stakeholders
+ Any other tasks and responsibilities as directed by line manager
**Your experience and qualifications**
+ Minimum 1-3 year sales experience in a pharmaceutical industry
+ Diploma or Degree graduate in pharmaceutical, nursing, bioscience, nutrition or other health sciences
+ Diploma or Degree in marketing, nursing, bioscience, business administration may also be considered
+ Proven sales records in private channel
+ Proven record of organizing and participation in marketing activities & product demonstration, customer engagement activities
+ Demonstrate strong ability to keep proper documentation and records

Reporting to Sales Supervisor, the sales representative will contribute to a high performing team within the Surgical Innovations business to achieve sales revenue and market share targets. The sales representative will achieve this by promoting, selling and servicing Medtronic Surgical products and therapies.
Medtronic's surgical innovations focus on advancing minimally invasive procedures through cutting-edge technology, improving patient outcomes while reducing recovery times. Our solutions span across multiple specialties, leveraging robotics, precision instruments, and digital platforms to enhance surgical precision and efficiency.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
+ Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
+ Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
+ Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
+ Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.
+ Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
+ Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including Research and Development (R&D), Operations and Marketing
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ A Bachelor's degree AND a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field
