Scope Overview
Execute underwriting activities and strategies at local and regional levels to achieve financial goals, adhering to company guidelines.
Manage end-to-end underwriting processes, ensuring policies comply with guidelines and MAS requirements, focusing on data entry, accuracy, and acceptance limits.
Plan and implement strategies for online portal roll-out.
Provide technical advice and support to business units within the respective class of business.
Possess experience and understanding of commercial property underwriting, loss prevention, and risk management for NatCat and man-made hazards.
Support and implement ad hoc projects and business initiatives to foster company growth.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience in P&C insurance.
Diploma in any discipline; insurance certifications like ComGI & ACII are advantageous.
Meticulous with an eye for detail.
Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Service-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Property Officer/Asset Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our commercial property.

This role involves ensuring that all building systems operate efficiently, tenants' needs are addressed promptly, and the property is maintained to high standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections to identify defects, irregularities, or maintenance issues and reporting findings to senior management.

The ideal candidate will have certification in Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline, with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in property/facilities management. They should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, be proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects, irregularities, or maintenance issues and report findings to senior management.
• Supervise and coordinate technicians to carry out minor repairs, maintenance, and replacements efficiently.
• Serve as the liaison officer for all M&E systems, including CCTV, ACMV, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, lift systems, and other building services.
• Engage with tenants and contractors to address and resolve maintenance issues within agreed timelines.
• Source quotations from contractors, compare, and evaluate.
• Issue and certify Work/Purchase Orders with accuracy and compliance to internal processes.
• Coordinate ad hoc jobs and respond to special tenant requests with minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain effective communication with tenants, promptly addressing their feedback and concerns.
• Assist senior management in managing MCST's Council Meetings and AGM
• Perform any additional duties assigned by senior management or the management team to support smooth operations.
