The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety protocols.

Duties will include performing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks as required by the client.

Responsibilities:

• Install and connect commercial kitchen equipment, including combination ovens, dishwashers, bain-marie units, and preparation sinks.
• Ensure proper water supply and drainage connections.
• Conduct thorough inspections of piping systems and equipment interfaces.
• Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with building codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing challenges in commercial kitchen environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial kitchen plumbing or equivalent experience.
• Valid plumbing license and certifications preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment installation requirements.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of water supply, drainage, and gas line connections.

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team in ensuring optimal kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising maintenance contractors, performing equipment maintenance and repair, and troubleshooting faults.

• The incumbent will be accountable for the administration of the preventive and recovery maintenance program for kitchen equipment on a daily basis.
• To guarantee the availability of equipment for production through regular maintenance and scheduled tasks. Examples of equipment include Combi oven, Tilting Pan, and Ware wash machine.
• The technician will improve equipment efficiency, safety, and output quality by implementing appropriate modifications and adjusting maintenance procedures.
• The successful candidate will perform maintenance and repair of equipment and identify equipment-related issues.

• Technical experience in commercial kitchen settings
• Mechanical engineering expertise

• Diploma in electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering, or ITC in electronics
• 2-3 years of experience in similar roles and industry
• Experience in managing multiple groups of contracted vendors
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and facilities management, welding, and cooling systems preferred
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, electronic, and related problems and ability to read relevant drawings
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and understand electrical and mechanical systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and good communication skills
