Cold Chain Delivery Professional Role Summary:
As a cold chain delivery professional, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent inventory management for retail distribution to supermarkets using first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles. Your duties will include organizing the unloading of containers for customer handovers, handling deliveries to customer locations, and conducting quality checks on goods in a cold storage warehouse.
Main Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver chilled products to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of delivered goods and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Inspect the condition of delivered products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class 3 manual driving license and ability to drive a 10-14 foot box chiller truck
- Physical fitness to carry loads up to 10kg and work in a fast-paced environment
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
