CANDIDATE WHO CAN HANDLLING SETTINGS,LOADING,UNLOADIND MATERIALS TO OR FROM THE CNC MACHINE UNDERSTANDING DRAWING CANCOMINICATION WITH THE QC DEPARTMENT,CLIENTS AND PROGRAMMING CNC MILLING WORKS.

WORKING EXPERIENCES MUST BE 5 YRS AND ABOVE DAY OR NIGHT SHIFT REQUESTED. CANDIDATE ALSO NEED TO ATTEND SAFETY COURSES IF NEEDED.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle daily setting up of machines
• Operating of CNC Turning / Milling machines
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Must have the knowledge on measuring instruments and ball gauges
• Able to perform simple programming will be an added advantage
• Keep up with the housekeeping requirements at the workstation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years experience in machining either CNC turning or milling machines in oil & gas / aerospace industry.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

- Responsible for setting up, tool selection, operating of multi-axis CNC machining centre and input the programs as designed.

- Possess working knowledge of cutting tools including speeds, cutting feed and clamping devices

- Perform daily maintenance on machines to ensure machine operates safely and complete quantity parts according to drawing instruction

- Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deliverable commitments

- Loading and setting up of parts

- Studies & interpret drawing sequence of operation and set up requirement

- Inspection of parts to ensure meets visual & dimensional requirement

- Perform basic preventive & maintenance of machine

- Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities:

• Repair & overhaul of the aero-engine components by benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, machining or using other required mechanical skills.
• Able to possesses CNC 3-axis & 5-axis / Conventional machining is preferred.
• Follow procedures and guidelines to meet operational requirements and quality standards.
• Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
• Report any incidents, hazardous conditions, and emergencies to the supervisor.
• Perform an assessment of risk of the activities and take corrective and preventive actions.
• To participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
• Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence
• Support the continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities within the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
• Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with equipment, tools and machines.

• Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience is a plus.
• Willing to work on shifts (Day / Night) and overtime on need basis.
