• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• At least 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or similar roles
• At least 2 year of relevant experience with the Cloud System Monitoring tools and Cloud operations
• Strong knowledge and skills in Azure or other cloud platforms

• RHEL Server Management: Install, configure, administer, and optimize RHEL servers in GCC (AWS) environments.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s/EKS).
• Migration Projects: Support migration of applications from legacy environments (RHEL, Solaris, AIX) to containerized/cloud-native platforms.
• Compliance & Security: Perform OS security hardening, ensure systems meet GovTech GCC compliance standards, and conduct audit checks.
• Clustering & High Availability: Manage Linux clustering, VM clustering, and container orchestration for high availability.
• Storage & Middleware Management: Administer LVM, GFS, NFS, DNS, automount, and support middleware (Squid Proxy, SMTP, Splunk, Apache, Tomcat).
• Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code: Automate tasks using Shell scripting, Ansible, and support IaC-based deployments.
• Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and respond to incidents within GCC workloads.
• Collaboration: Work closely with GovTech, vendors, and agencies for problem resolution, upgrades, and operational improvements.

• Experience: 5-8 years in Linux/Unix administration (RHEL).
• Containers: Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, container lifecycle management, and orchestration (AWS EKS).
• Security: Solid knowledge of Linux security hardening, auditing, and compliance (IM8/GCC).
• Troubleshooting: Proficiency in RHEL troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, crash dump/log analysis.
• Clustering & Virtualization: Experience in Linux clustering, high availability, and virtualization.
• Automation: Strong skills in Shell scripting, Ansible automation; exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud: Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, Load Balancers, EKS).
• Monitoring: Hands-on experience with Splunk, Prometheus, ELK, and other monitoring tools.
• Communication: Strong ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Description:

• Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and servers (on-premises and cloud).
• Manage servers, accounts, and cloud-related tools to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor system performance and maintain infrastructure in line with business requirements.
• Collaborate with users and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring minimal service impact.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in administration of On-Premises Servers and Cloud Operations (AWS & Azure).
• Strong expertise in AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, Glacier, EBS, Storage Gateway, IAM, ECS, EKS, and Azure Active Directory.
• Solid working experience with Load Balancers, Route Tables, NACLs, Security Groups, and NSGs.
• Experience in DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation tools).
• Proficient in Terraform, scripting (PowerShell, Shell, or equivalent), and cloud automation tools (Terraform, Chef, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Linux (RedHat) and Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Azure, and AWS environments.
• Deep expertise in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, IIS, SCCM, WSUS, and Windows Clustering.
• Familiarity with backup and antivirus solutions (Commvault, NetBackup, TrendMicro, Symantec).
• Knowledge of storage products is an advantage.
• Exposure to Application tiers, IIS, Databases, and Change Management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to handle demanding SLA-driven environments shift rotation, standby duties, and off-peak maintenance may be required

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:

• AWS SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator (Mandatory).
• RHEL, MCSE, MCSA, ITIL, or equivalent certifications (Preferred).
• Basic networking knowledge and Linux/Unix cross-training ability.
• Experience in WOG environment is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

· Work with software engineers to develop and maintain cloud backend services

· Develop and maintain cloud provider-agnostic backend deployment tools

· Manage and set up automated CI/CD systems
