Job Responsibilities
Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure tailored to business and technical requirements.
Design and implement cloud solutions and automate cloud infrastructure, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, AWS CloudFormation, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Manage and optimize cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure), ensuring high availability, performance, and security compliance.
Automate cloud operations and workflows using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Implement monitoring solutions and respond to incidents to ensure reliability and quick recovery.
Enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management, aligned with regulatory requirements.
Analyze cloud usage and implement cost optimization strategies.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support application deployment and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
Document cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures; educate teams on cloud technologies and best practices.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and agility.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with strong expertise in GCP.
GCP Mastery: Deep knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and BigQuery.
IaC Skills: Proficient in Terraform; experience with GCP Deployment Manager is a plus.
Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with GCP-native tools (Cloud Build, Artifact Registry) and Git-based workflows.
Security & IAM: Solid understanding of IAM, service accounts, and cloud security principles.
Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with Google Cloud Operations Suite for observability.
Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and hybrid connectivity.
AI Adoption: Understanding of building AI agents and integrating them into workflows; knowledge of Vertex AI, GCP Agent space, and Gemini is preferable.
API Integration: Experience with GCP APIs and integrating with external systems.
Entrepreneurship: Self-starter, strong communicator, and collaborative in a fast-moving environment.
Certifications (preferred): Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer.

Reporting to the Cloud Manager of Global Infra Operations, the Cloud and DevOps Architect will be a key member of the Cloud team responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and monitoring complex Cloud & DevOps Solutions and infrastructures for organizations. Qualification
