We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions professional to join our team, focusing on delivering resilient and secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and managing cloud infrastructure deployment on GCP, including provisioning and de-provisioning resources, maintaining security posture, monitoring resource utilization, configuring networks, and managing backup/restore processes.

• Collaborate closely with application stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud infrastructure services that meet business requirements.
• Administer and manage cloud infrastructure deployment on GCP, including provisioning and de-provisioning resources.
• Troubleshoot issues effectively and implement corrective and preventive actions during and after incidents.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and processes for troubleshooting, system maintenance, and configuration management.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions on GCP using tools such as Google Cloud Deployment Manager, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Provide training and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for the cloud community within the organization.
• Explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to reduce costs or enhance operational efficiencies.

Demonstrate capability in any of the following areas such as Networking (e.g., VPC, VPN etc.), Storage (e.g., block, file, and object storage), Database migration to cloud, Security (e.g., IAM, firewall configurations, security groups), DevOps and Automation
Continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends are crucial for someone in this role

You will work as part of a global, multidisciplinary team researching, architecting, and building innovative tools, systems, and best practices for Goldman Sachs engineers. We are modernizing our application stacks around cloud-native principles and migrating business workloads to the cloud, implementing reference architectures and patterns to give our business a competitive edge.

A Cloud DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the reliability and efficiency of cloud-based systems.
