The Role

• Manage operations of medical services for corporate clients.
• Collaborate and liaise with external and internal stakeholders, including third-party vendors and medical professionals.

The Person

• Knowledge of maritime services industry is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and strong command of the English language.
• Team player who is able to perform tasks independently.
• Ability to perform ship boarding tasks.
• Availability for standby duty after office hours to provide any necessary support services.
• Having own transport is preferred, but not required.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Social Worker Associate to join our team. As a Medical Social Worker Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting patients and their families through the healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Centre Manager and be involved in pre-admission work, including taking on new referrals and liaising with external agencies and internal teams.
• Assess and evaluate patients' and families' psycho-social and financial status.
• Assist clients in applying for financial assistance schemes when needed.
• Set up and maintain administrative protocols for patient needs from onboarding to discharge.
• Work closely with team members to develop Individual Care Plans.
• Provide accurate information to clients on policies, procedures, and services.
• Utilize strong case resolution skills to resolve client feedback and complaints.
• Collaborate with other managers and medical social workers to ensure MOH service requirements are met.
• Assist with logistics, staffing, and operational capability of the centre as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Work or relevant field desirable.
• 5-day work week with rotational weekends required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a daycare centre preferred.
• Experience working with MOH or relevant stakeholders in the healthcare industry desirable.
• Proficiency in IT systems such as IRMS and ILTC Portal a plus.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Description
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will support in providing basic nursing care activities such as:

1. Recording vital signs
2. Assisting patients with general hygiene
3. Changing minor dressings
4. Collecting specimens
5. Performing appropriate nursing care as required

You will also be responsible for the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, maintaining a safe and clean ward environment, and performing portering and other duties as required.
