Job Description

**What you will be doing:**
+ Provide effective technical consultative service to customers before, during and after routine surgical cases
+ Consistently drive customer and patient satisfaction
+ Apply product proficiency by ensuring customers comprehend technical specifications and on-label use of products
+ Case prearrangement and instrument & implant kits monitoring
+ Provide inventory management and invoicing to customers and branch operations

+ Provide consigned and owned inventory management support by delivering, organizing and monitoring inventory of implants and instruments at customer location.

+ Confidently identify and troubleshoot product-related problems and/or issues related to a customer's application of a product.
+ Document every incident regarding product performance; assist in preparing reports regarding these product issues according to Company policy and governmental requirements.
+ Assist in the return/addition of goods resulting from field service issues, stock adjustments, field actions, and administrative processes according to Company procedures.
+ Ensure that products requiring maintenance and/or evaluation are returned to the branch in a timely manner.
+ Provide comprehensive product training to colleagues and customers in both one-on-one and in-service settings under the direction of a manager or sales representative.
+ Help drive sales initiatives by assisting with technology upgrades.
+ Interact with various internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, product development) concerning products and product application.
+ Successfully complete initial training/certification program for Orthopaedic Specialists and demonstrate proficiency in products routinely used in specific customer accounts.
+ Maintain product/instrumentation knowledge and professional skills through internal training, external seminars and other available means.

**Required knowledge and experience:**
+ Minimum 1-3-year experience in medical device field preferred.
+ Work alongside with anesthesiologist and surgeons in operating rooms, monitoring brain signals of patients and testing their nervous system to reduce or avoid surgical complication
+ Strong Biomedical background.
+ Basic knowledge of Intra-operative Neuromonitoring (IONM).
+ Basic understanding of Human Anatomy and Neurophysiology will be a plus points
+ This role is not only operationally critical but also directly tied to our sales revenue and business retention in the neurosurgery and spine segments.
+ Requires a bachelor's degree in fields such as Biomedical Engineering , Science or Nursing

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Clinical Senior oversees classes within the centre, under the supervision of the Assistant Head of Department (Teaching) and/or Assistant Director (Pedagogy and Practice). He/She reviews the children's learning progress and improves teaching and learning approaches to meet the developmental goals of children. He/she supports the design and evaluation of centre-wide curriculum, programmes and teaching practices to improve learning outcomes. He/she collaborates with community stakeholders, and social service providers to deliver programmes and services with support from other Clinical Seniors. He/she collaborates and liaises with interns. Plan and implement curriculum and programmes:

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) (SDESN) or ADESN
  • Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Special Education or related fields from recognized institutions

About the job

The Salvation Army Children & Youth Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead the development of mental health services aimed at supporting youth with trauma backgrounds, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and other complex psychological needs. The role will involve providing therapeutic support to children and adolescents, setting up mental health frameworks, and supervising a multidisciplinary team.

The Clinical Psychologist will be instrumental in designing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for vulnerable youth in residential and community settings. Additionally, the successful candidate will collaborate with social workers, counsellors, and educators to ensure a trauma-informed approach to care, fostering resilience, emotional regulation, and social development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Service Development and Programme Leadership

  • Lead the development and delivery of psychological services tailored to the needs of individuals and groups within The Salvation Army Children & Youth Group.
  • Develop structured therapeutic frameworks and interventions focusing on trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and resilience.
  • Implement evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), among others, to address the specific needs of the youth population.
  • Collaborate with residential staff and external partners to design holistic and integrated care plans for youth.

2. Direct Clinical Services

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy for children and adolescents with complex trauma histories, emotional regulation difficulties, and challenging behaviours.
  • Conduct psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, cognitive testing, and behavioural assessments.
  • Develop and monitor individualised treatment plans to guide therapeutic interventions.
  • Offer crisis intervention services when necessary, including managing immediate risks and addressing urgent behavioural issues.

3. Supervision and Training

  • Supervise counsellors, assistant psychologists, and trainee psychologists, offering guidance and mentorship in delivering clinical services.
  • Lead training sessions for staff on trauma-informed care, mental health awareness, de-escalation techniques, and psychological intervention strategies.
  • Provide reflective practice opportunities and clinical supervision to staff and trainees, supporting professional development and capacity building.

4. Programme Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Develop tools to monitor the effectiveness of mental health interventions, using quantitative and qualitative data to measure outcomes.
  • Evaluate programme success and make data-driven adjustments to therapeutic approaches as needed.
  • Work with management to ensure services are continuously aligned with best practices and meet the evolving needs of the children and youth.

5. Systemic and Community Engagement

  • Build strong partnerships with community mental health services, schools, hospitals, and other stakeholders to support continuity of care.
  • Advocate for youth mental health needs within the organisation and at community levels.
  • Engage with families and caregivers to provide psychoeducation and guidance on supporting youth with trauma.

Key Competencies

  • Expertise in child and adolescent mental health, with a strong understanding of trauma-informed care.
  • Ability to work effectively with complex cases involving emotional, behavioural, and psychological difficulties.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to supervise, train, and mentor a clinical team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with vulnerable youth, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong clinical judgement and problem-solving skills, particularly in crisis situations.
  • Capacity to work in a flexible and dynamic environment, with a focus on service development and continuous improvement.



Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with children, adolescents and/or families, with a focus on complex mental health needs, although promising fresh Masters graduates will also be considered.
  • Experience in developing and delivering psychological services or programmes for youth populations, preferably in a residential or community setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents.
  • Experience in providing supervision to clinical staff and trainees is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the mental health and social service landscape in Singapore is an advantage.

  1. Accredited Master or Doctoral degree in Psychology (preferably Clinical Psychology) or Counselling (preferably Clinical) from an accredited University.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of relevant clinical experience, including at least 5 years in clinical supervisory and service planning or programme development, preferably within mental health services.
  3. Registration or eligible for registration with a recognised professional body (eg Singapore Psychological Society).
  4. Strong competencies in the delivery of mindfulness-based psychotherapies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
  5. Proven expertise in clinical supervisory, service planning and programme development.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons and nurses in the use of Zimmer Biomet's instruments and products in surgeries.
  • Maintain current knowledge of procedures performed.
  • Prepare and deliver ID Card
  • Maintain positive working and build relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Any other ad-hoc sales duties assigned

Education/ Experience Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

You will assist in all aspects of pre-operative, operative and post-operative patient care in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Suitable candidates will be offered employment on a 1-year contract.

Requirements:

  • A recognised basic medical degree
  • Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
  • At least 5 years' post-housemanship training in the relevant field, of which a minimum of 3 years must be in the cardiothoracic or general surgery area
  • A good command of English (both written and spoken)
  • Documented proof of:

(i) Measles (or Mumps ,Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity ;and

(ii) Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment.
