You will play an instrumental role in facilitating the clinical governance of the Hospital through hospital-level policy-making, and ensuring the smooth execution of the Medical Board's deliverables.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- To collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders to develop and maintain hospital-level policies, clinical guidelines and consent forms.

Job Requirements:
- Degree in Science / Healthcare related.
- Proficient in IT applications – E.g. MSWord, PowerPoint, MSExcel etc.
- Good stakeholder management and presentation skills, meticulous and responsible.
- A willingness to learn and explore best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Ableto work independently and resourcefully in a dynamic environment.

Job Description:
You will support the functions of the Clinical Governance & Quality (CGQ) primarily in the areas of data management and analytics, hospital policies and processes and secretariat support for committees. In carrying out the various duties, you will be required to work very closely with the senior management, clinical chiefs and doctors, patient care staff and other CGQ staff members.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the Portal for Risk Identification and Safety Management (PRISM) system, including incident screening and system administration functions. Liaise with vendor/NHG, perform testing, troubleshooting and system configuration as required.
2. Facilitate data requests from internal and external stakeholders, monitor clinical quality and patient safety indicators and prepare internal and external submissions.
3. Use Statistical Process Control methodology to identify trends and variations in clinical quality and patient safety data and indicators.
4. Design and implement automated dashboards and reports for departmental and hospital-wide users.
5. Assist with data preparation and statistical analysis in clinical quality and patient safety related activities, such as international benchmarking, quality datamart, quality improvement projects etc.
6. Provide secretariat support for Non-pharmacological Intervention Committee.
7. Support department work related to hospital accreditation and audits (e.g. JCI accreditation, MOH hospital licensing).
Requirements:
- Degree holder with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong in numbers; able to produce and present high-level statistical reports with in-depth analysis to the senior management.
- Able to view issues at the strategic level coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to multi-task and manage teams and projects.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels with good interpersonal skills.
- Possess a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Statistical Process Control methodology, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and in statistical software such as SPSS and SAS
