**About Team:**
The Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory offers a comprehensive repertoire of laboratory tests ranging from renal, liver, cardiac, respiratory functions to highly specialized tests for hormones, tumor markers, trace metals, vitamins and therapeutic drug monitoring to help clinicians in the diagnosis and management of a wide variety of diseases. Analyses of biochemical constituents are conducted in blood, urine, and other body fluids (such as cerebrospinal fluid, pleural fluid, ascitic fluid, etc). You will learn about the various assays and their applications which are essential for clinical and commercial application which has facilitated the discovery of new diagnostics and treatments to manage a wide array of diseases.
+ Student will gain real-world experience working as part of a drug development team in the laboratory.
+ Perform quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ The intern will be trained in pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical aspects of the department workflow and the applications of various assays.
+ Instruction and mentorship will be provided.
+ At the end of training, the student will do presentation to fulfill his/her understanding in the project assignment.

Job Responsibilities
Determine the acceptability of samples with guidelines and prepare specimens for analysis
Perform laboratory tests as stated in the standard procedure manual
Co-ordinate general workflow and prioritise laboratory requests according to Stat, Urgent and Routine
Able to operate and calibrate most laboratory instruments
Perform periodic preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments
Validate the accuracy of laboratory data
Perform new procedures as directed
Job Requirements
At least a Diploma/Degree in Medical Technology/Biotechnology/Biomedical Science or others
Minimum 2 years of working experience in Clinical Laboratory
A team player with initiative and adaptive to changes
Willing to work on PH, Weekends and Night
