  • Experience negotiating and managing partnerships with insurers or HMOs
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and service excellence
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions and integration of healthcare organizations preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

Governance & Stakeholder Relations

  • Report to the Board with clear insights into financial performance, risks, and strategic plans.
  • Maintain strong shareholder, partner, and contractor relationships, particularly around financing, leases, and joint ventures.
  • Champion audit compliance, legal governance, and capital structuring for future readiness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a C-suite or senior leadership role (COO, MD, or CEO), preferably in wellness, fitness, healthtech, or multi-site service businesses.
  • Track record of achieving financial growth, driving profitability, and executing strategic pivots.
  • Strong commercial acumen — able to balance performance metrics with brand integrity.
  • Experience scaling business lines in physical and digital models, ideally across multiple geographies.
  • Demonstrated strength in people leadership, with a passion for mentorship and culture-building.
  • Deep understanding of consumer health trends, lifestyle medicine, and the evolving wellness economy.
  • Experience in franchise/licensing, JV partnerships, or private equity environments is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Sciences, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the shipping and trading industry, with proven leadership in executive roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of bulk commodities such as coal, gypsum, and fertilizers.
  • Strong expertise in international trade, import/export processes, shipping logistics, chartering, and Incoterms.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business, managing key client accounts, and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to navigate complex global markets.
