As a Laboratory Scientist, you will perform testing using various methods and instrumentation, such as ICP, TOC, IC, FTIR, UV_VIS. You will also ensure reagents preparation, QA/QC, and test methods comply with ISO 17025 requirements.
Maintenance of equipment calibration, maintenance, and verification is essential for lab quality management compliance. Additionally, you may be required to perform sampling and on-site testing when necessary.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting chemical analysis of environmental samples
- Performing testing using various methods and instrumentation
- Ensuring reagents preparation, QA/QC, and test methods comply with ISO 17025 requirements

Key Responsibilities
Perform literature review on data available for commercial processes
Provide estimations for data not available in literature
Develop process flowsheets to describe the processes developed in the project and commercial processes
Perform life cycle assessment and techno-economic analysis processes developed in the project and commercial processes
Prepare manuscripts, reports and presentations
Guide and train students and junior lab members
Maintain complete documentation for modelling methods and analysis used
Regular communications with supervisors on progress and report writing
Job Requirements
PhD degree in chemical engineering or closely related field
Good understanding of LCA and TEA theories and calculations
Experience on ASPEN-HYSYS and LCA software tools
