But what’s the role?
We are looking for an ambitious Engineering Lead to join us and lead our Singapore-based Client Facing Applications (CFA) team, in our mission of helping organisations understand how they could be hacked - in real-time. This role is based in Singapore.
What will I do?
You will lead the CFA Engineering Team in Singapore driving delivery of a scalable integration strategy as the watchTowr Platform grows.
You will report into and work closely with the Head of Applications to align local delivery with the global CFA strategy, ensuring technical consistency and shared standards.
You will act as line manager for the Singapore CFA engineers, including performance reviews, career development, and day-to-day coaching.
You will determine appropriate and design normalisation or standardisation layers to enable rapid deployment and development of new integrations
You will design workflows that reflect the flow of data between the watchTowr Platform, and various integration types.
You will tackle technology and data problems – how do we handle large amounts of data and give our clients control over their data and the processes behind it?
Ideal Experience
5+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, including responsibility for performance reviews and team development.
Demonstrated experience as a line manager, coaching engineers and building high-performing teams.
Experience working in an early-stage B2B startup focusing on enterprise clients.
Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements for integrations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical capabilities.
Establishing and building core SOPs for building integrations, implementing a strategy to facilitate rapid deployment of integrations.
Designing and managing integrations (push, pull, bidirectional syncs) across diverse platforms such as cloud, RBVM, and data sources.
Working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Frontend: React.js, Typescript; Database: MySQL; Others: ECS, K8s, Airflow, Kafka, Serverless, AWS
Working in Agile/DevOps-oriented environments.
