Job Responsibilities
In charge of daily operations of the Active Ageing Centre (AAC).
- Supervise Centre staff
- Coordinate support services and organize inter-generational activities for the Seniors in the identified blocks within the service cluster
- Ensure that the programs and activities meet the performance indicators and operating guidelines issued by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC)and preparation of reports
- To mentor and motivate a team of AAC staff and volunteers
- Befriending and Buddying to identified seniors
- To conduct regular outreach to the seniors in the identified blocks
- Establish and motivate seniors to run mutual help groups
- Preparation and submission of internal and external reports
- Supervision and manning of the Alert Alarm System
- Ensure the Centre is well-maintained at all times
Job Requirements
- Possess GCE 'A' Level or Diploma in Community & Social Service
- Have at least 4 years of related work experience in AAC
- Have knowledge on the role and function of AAC, would be an advantage
- People-oriented and passionate towards working with Seniors and for Seniors
