Purpose

The Technical Superintendent responsibilities will be to represent the owner interests for the assigned vessels through liaising with the external technical managers and the crew of the vessels to ensure the vessels have a high standard of machinery and equipment maintenance that minimises vessel downtime, operates within budget and maintains the value of the owner's asset. Main Responsibilities and Tasks

Qualifications

• Technical/Maritime qualifications, preferably with seagoing experience on bulk carriers as Chief or second Engineer / Master OR degree in naval architecture or marine engineering with relevant office experience handling Dry bulk vessels (with cranes) .

• Good command of oral and written English.

• Standard computer knowledge.

Job Summary
The Technical Superintendent is responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective technical management of assigned dry vessels (e.g., bulk carriers, general cargo ships).
