Role Overview
As an Options Trader at G-20 Group, you will be responsible for managing a discretionary options portfolio across a number of asset classes. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize options trading strategies across global markets.
Analyze market data and leverage quantitative models to identify profitable trading opportunities.
Monitor and manage risk exposures, ensuring strategies align with risk management protocols.
Collaborate with data scientists, quants, and other traders to refine and improve trading algorithms and strategies.
Stay up-to-date on market trends, news, and economic events that could impact options prices and volatility.
Execute trades and manage positions effectively, ensuring optimal execution and liquidity.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of G-20 Group's trading systems and technologies.
Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.
Strong background in options trading with a solid understanding of the options market and strategies.
Proven track record of generating consistent profits (PnL >$2m for more than 3 years).
Experience with quantitative trading and the ability to apply data analysis to trading decisions.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, particularly options pricing, volatility, and risk management.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
A results-driven, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
Preferred / Desirable Experience

Job Description
We're looking for a skilled Trader to enhance and optimize our options trading systems. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the team's future direction, challenging existing processes, and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage risk and oversee trading for the desk's options books
- Analyze historical data to refine trading strategies and identify new opportunities
- Design, implement, and execute profitable positional option strategies
- Collaborate closely with developers and the commercial team to improve overall trading performance

Background And Experience
We're looking for a highly skilled options trader with a strong track record in systematic or semi-systematic trading, ideally within a top market-making firm. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the options trading landscape, a responsible risk appetite, and driven to make continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in driving improvements in a trading environment, particularly in market-making or systematic strategies
- Strong grasp of options trading concepts, including market making, positional systematic trading, and derivative strategies
- At least four years of experience in the trading industry, ideally managing a profitable options book
- Hands-on experience in TradeFi, DeFi, and/or crypto trading is strongly preferred
- Understanding of crypto markets and their structure (a plus)
- Ability to research, design, and implement option trading models and strategies
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, preferably Python, but also C#, C++, Java, or Rust

Our Equity Options team is looking for a Trading Systems Engineer (TSE) to provide high performance, mission critical support for our proprietary trading systems. - Troubleshoot trading system production incidents resulting from internal (proprietary software/systems) or external factors (markets, data feeds, telecommunication lines) in time-critical situations.
- Understanding Option Trading in the APAC region to best enable trading
- Coordinate efforts with European and US Option trading teams to share best practices and ensure continuity and consistency of support in a 24x7 environment
- Understand exchange data center layout and hardware infrastructure to optimise our setup and configuration
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1-3 years working trade support, site reliability engineering or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in STEM field, ideally computer engineering related
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and common network troubleshooting tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal for audiences of varying backgrounds
- Thrives in high-pressure situations while working alongside traders, developers and other engineering teams
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
- Knowledge of database usage (SQL, NoSQL, Postgres)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Experience with Distributed Systems
- Strong understanding of modern DevOps and CICD
- Experience with using and/or building Restful web services
- Experience with web development technologies (e.g., Javascript , Vue and CSS3)

- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, including market makers and structured product issuers, to grow the options ecosystem.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including planning, research, analysis, and execution from concept to launch.
- Strong interest in crypto and options trading.
- At least 3 years of product management experience, preferably in trading.
